Executive Coaching: A Two-Mountain Solution to Leading
Executive Coaching can help an organizations leadership to see things in a different way.
Imagine you are climbing a mountain. Your line of vision is reasonably limited. You can see what’s right in front of you, but not much more than that.
Now imagine someone on a different mountain next to yours is also climbing and is at about the same height you are. This other person can see all around you from their mountain.
If given the opportunity, would you instead rely on your limited perspective, or, the view of that other person?
Not every situation a leader has to deal with requires or even would benefit from an outside perspective. Sometimes, however, these unique situations do arise, and Executive Coaching can provide the objective approach needed to reach a solution.
For example, when it seems department goals have been made crystal clear, yet the buy-in from employees is lacking. Where is the disconnect? Is it a perception problem? It would be difficult to find the answer in a book or even from someone within the organization (too close to the situation).
Leadership styles come in many shapes, and colors, as do the needs of organizations, their departments, and employees.
At TWS, we are committed to helping organizations reach their goals. We focus on leaders and the relationships they have with their employees and with themselves so everyone feels valued.
